Details, Terms & Conditions For Vending At The Event


  • Separate vending space is available on both brothers’ & sisters’ sides.
  • Please contact Brother Zakee Muwwakkil @ (215) 327-9425 to book your spot . For issues other than those related to vending, please contact the masjid @ (215) 220-1657/0331.
  • We welcome all vendors to set up shop. However, we reserve the right to ensure that vendors of Islamic materials (books, CDs etc.) are vending authentic Islamic information. Vendors with inauthentic Islamic material will be requested to stop selling the same. If they fail to comply, they will have to close the stall and vacate the vending area. The vendor will lose the deposit for the day(s) of operation. For, unused days, the vendor will get the corresponding refund.
  • Vending rates are $50 per day and $125 for all three ‘event’ days.
  • All payment must be made in full before the vendors commence setting up their tables/ stalls.
  • Vendors who deposit their money towards the event cannot reclaim their money if they decide to change their mind. The masjid bears the right to retain the total amount of the deposit.
  • Vendors are responsible for their trash. Vendors are required to bag their trash and transfer bags to the dumpster on-site. The vendors must cleanup his/her respective vending area by the end of each day.
  • Vendors may setup on the morning of the day they want to do business and must take all their property with them if they are not vending the next day (or at the end of the event.) The masjid will not be responsible for the vendors’ loss of belongings. Any belongings left over will be promptly disposed off by the masjid and the vendor cannot hold the masjid liable for this.
  • Since the vending area is outdoors, the vendors are strongly advised to take necessary precautions to protect their vending area against intense heat, wind or rain.
  • In the event of extreme weather (heat/ wind/ rain), the vendors cannot claim their deposit (in part or in full) unless the seminar is stopped for that day and no learning sessions take place at the masjid (indoors or outdoors.) In such a scenario, the corresponding amount of money due to the vendor for that specific day(s) will be refunded to the vendor one week after the completion of the event. The vendor is required to come to the masjid to pick up the refund.
  • Please note that even though the seminar is scheduled to be conducted outdoors, the masjid bears the right to conduct the seminar indoors if the masjid so decides.
